SHARE - The Scottish Health Research Register is a database of volunteers who are interested in assissting and promoting research for improving health. Anyone who signs up will be contacted and offered opportunities to get involved and help us write guidelines,complete a questionaire online,design a study or take part in clinical investigations for diseases. The choices are very different and there is no obligation to take part in anything. You choose if and when you would like to be involved. In addition to the permission to contact you, we are asking permission to use any left over blood which remains following routine clinical tests done by our doctors. This is anonymous for genetic research looking how medicines work and why they dont work for everyone.
